It’s easy to get stuck in “I just got home and I’ll just browse/play ___ to relax and then I’ll start with my desire when I’ve got some time to rest from my busy day.”
Before you know it one hour has passed and now you need to sleep if you want to feel well rested for tomorrow. And now comes the guilt because we’ve wasted our precious time on something that didn’t bring us closer to our desire and soon we need to be at work doing something most of us don’t enjoy doing.
It doesn’t have to be like this. You know what you want to do.
Do it immediately as you come home!
Do it for five minutes and after that you are free to do whatever, or keep working on your desire.
Use your first five minutes to make a plan
- You need: 1 pen, 1 paper.
- Write down what you want to do and why.
- Write down what the goal of this habit is and how often you will practice it.
- Now read it aloud.
- Now do this habit for five minutes.
Good. Now read your note aloud again and do it everytime you get home and before you go to bed. Make it your mission to do this for 30 days and increase your time on your desire by 1 minute each time you do it.
If you did not successfully achieve your desire to follow your habit in 30 days, start again and do it for 30 more days!
Let us know what your desire is and how you will achieve it
